Job Title: REFRIGERATION TECHNICIAN

This direct hire opportunity for the Allentown, PA - USA Travaglini's branch offers full time hours and a competitive pay & benefits package. Pay will be based on experience. Hours will vary based on business needs - some nights, weekends and overnight travel will be required. Some international travel will also be required.

Responsibilities:

Repair and install specialty food drying, smoking, and fermenting equipment on-site at client locations

Candidates must have:

A high school diploma or its equivalent; HVAC or Refrigeration Trade school completion or equivalent

EPA Core + Level 2 minimum

5+ years working in industrial refrigeration

The ability to read and interpret schematics involving integrated systems of electrical, mechanical, refrigeration and plumbing

Expert knowledge of refrigerant management usage; EPA Clean Air Act, understanding of various refrigerants and usage, etc.

Intermediate knowledge of computerized maintenance field service management systems

Experience in the usage of SCADA systems

Oxy/acetylene welding experience

The ability to lift/lower/climb ladders and walk on roofs

A clear driving record is needed as you will be required to drive a service van

Experience working for a food processing company is strongly preferred

Knowledge of programming PLC languages: AWL / SCL / Codesys is preferred
