Exciting news for our company: we’re ready to move into our newly renovated facility in Cinisello Balsamo, on Via Margherita de Vizzi Viganò. This is a major step forward for us, allowing us to grow, improve, and continue providing cutting-edge solutions.
But here’s the fun coincidence that made us smile: Margherita de Vizzi Viganò, after whom the street is named, was a prominent figure in our area in the early 20th century. Born in 1864, she owned a ham factory in the Robecco district, which was active in the 1920s and 1930s.
Her dedication to the art of charcuterie earned her the nickname “La Giambunata,” a dialect term meaning “the ham maker.”
Beyond her entrepreneurial success, Margherita is also remembered as a great benefactor. In 1928, she donated a villa on Via Solferino to house the Piccola Opera della Fanciullezza Abbandonata (Little Work for Abandoned Childhood), providing shelter and education to children in need.
Looks like our destiny was written… in cured meats!
New address, same commitment and passion as always. We can’t wait to welcome you to our new space!
